Who we are

Vine of Hope-Africa (VOHA) is a national women-led, faith-based organization (NNGO) established in 2019, with the aim to addressing humanitarian and development-related challenges by building community resilience and restoring the lost hope for the vulnerable communities affected by the sustained wars in South Sudan.

VoHA operates by providing lifesaving assistance and holistic social services to most vulnerable communities in South Sudan focusing on women, children and youth while equipping people with skills and helping the affected communities restore hope and rebuild their lives through lifesaving, recovery and resilience programming in the thematic fields.

VoHA is committed to empowering and supporting the conflict and natural disaster- affected communities in South Sudan through Protection (Gender Equity and GBV prevention and response, Women Empowerment Resilience Livelihoods, Food security and livelihood, Education (Focus on girl child education), Nutrition, Health Care, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene and peace building with access to justice.

VOHA is legally registered by the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) Republic of South Sudan with registration number:4378 and its head office is in Juba, capital city of South Sudan, It is currently operating in 5 states of South

Sudan namely: Central Equatoria, Western Bahr-El Ghazal, Upper Nile, Western Equatoria and Jonglei states.
